With mains-powered operation, there is no worry about battery drainage during operation, even with PZ3 or Torx T40 tipped carpentry screws, which are now a very popular way of making joist connections in carports, patio buildings, roofs and garden architectural elements.
The machine has additional metal side handle and adjustable clutch to protect against jerks. Two-speed transmission generates 85Nm of torque in 1st gear and 40Nm in 2nd gear. The power cord is long and soft, which makes it easy to maneuver the tool when working with timber frame structures -drilling into purlins, mullions and braces with wood augers.
The high torque also allows you to work in metal with Christmas tree drills (up to 40mm in diameter) and HSS twist drills (up to 20mm).
The tool is perfectly fitted and balanced which makes the work comfortable and efficient.
