The lightweight PLATO S3S series of work boots is a model with an impact-resistant fiberglass toecap and a flexible anti-piercing insert made of material used in the manufacture of bulletproof vests. The fiberglass toecap does not absorb the ambient temperature, which is appreciated both in winter during cold weather and on hot days. The anti-puncture insole - unlike its steel counterpart - is flexible and does not restrict midfoot flexion.
The sole with an anti-slip tread made of compacted PU and the midsole made of aerated PU guarantees both high abrasion resistance and good cushioning for the foot. Enhanced comfort is complemented by an innovative popcorn design insole.
The latest-generation synthetic leather upper and special inserts at the tongue reduce water permeation and absorption. It also guarantees high tear resistance and comfort like natural leather shoes. At the same time, it does not require time-consuming care with oils and hydrophobic agents to maintain its properties.
