YT-73090 clamp meter equipped with clamps to measure AC current in a single wire by inductive method. This makes it possible to measure much higher current than conventional electric meters. The meter is a complementary accessory to the YT-73085 universal meter, as well as any universal meter that measures in the millivolt range.

- Measurement accuracy of YT-73090 meter for this range is : ±(2% + 0.5), resolution of 1 A
- calculation of measurement error formula: (measurement result x 2%) + 0.5 x resolution
- calculation: (30 x 2%) + 0.5 x 1 = 0.6 + 0.5 = 1.10 A
The actual result including measurement error for the indication of 30 A = 30 ± 1.25 A.

Attention!
Current measurement with clamp meters is performed only on a single conductor, a single cable. Fastening the clamps on a multiconductor cable without isolating a single conductor will show an incorrect result or zero current flow.
