The YATO thread is designed for use in installations with a maximum pressure of up to 15 bar and an operating temperature in the range -20 °C to 130 °C. The thread is made of very strong nylon fibers making it resistant to tearing. In addition, unlike Teflon tapes, the use of thread allows correction of the joint up to 45°, greatly simplifying installation and reducing costs.
The YATO thread is soaked in a special silicone lubricant, which provides very good sealing properties, and besidesit does not harden. As a result, unscrewing the screw, even after many years, is very easy.
Convenient to use, the tube in the lid has a double-sided cutting knife that allows you to easily and quickly cut the thread of the desired length.
TheYATO thread with a length of 150m is very efficient and allows sealing up to 330 connectors with a diameter of 1/2".
