The YT-2862 voltage monitor with LCD display makes it possible to ascertain the presence of AC electric voltage and detect AC voltage by the induction method. The presence of voltage is indicated by an indication on the LCD display, and in the case of the contact method róalso by the lighting of an LED.

CONTACT METHOD
Apply the grotto to a live component. The display will show the voltage values, and the lighting of the LED indicates, the flow of electric current through this element. The indicator will show the highest voltage range for the circuit under test and all lower ranges, for example, when measuring the voltage from a 230V household outlet, the display will show [12, 36, 55, 110, 220], indicating a voltage above 220V.
INDUCTIVE METHOD
The method allows you to detect AC voltage in an insulated wire. To do this, put your finger on the "Induction Test" field and bring the tip close to the insulated wire. The presence of a lightning bolt symbol on the LCD display indicates the presence of voltage. This method also allows „contactless” detection of a break in a live electric wire. At the point of the break, the tester will stop signaling the presence of voltage.
