Drills and taps are made of HSS 4341 high-speed steel. Single-stage taps cut a thread into which a hard stainless steel spiral insert is inserted. A guide knob is used to insert the insert and a drift thatóry breaks off the protruding endóof the insert.

The tapping tool should be seated in the knob designed for threading machines. The knob is not included in the kit equipment- On the knob for spiral inserts, seat the insert so that the transverse part of the insert is in the the slot of the knob. Then secure the insert with a ring so that it does not stretch during screwing. Secure the ring with a screw- Screw the insert completely into the pre-threaded hole. Slide out the knob.
